- Biomedical materials include polymers, hydrogels, nanoparticles, peptides, peptide nucleic acids, etc
- Drug delivery systems: Nano/micron-sized controllable drug release systems, implantable drug release devices based on micro-nano processing technology and material synthesis
- Cancer detection and therapy
