Food Safety Professional refers to people that has specific and technical knowledge and adopts relevant technologies and methods to manage food safety complying with the national standards.

Food Safety Professional is offered by China National Food Industry Association (CNFIA) according to the food safety situation and regulations in China. It aims at preventing food safety issues from the beginning and enhancing the quality of food industry employee.

Every training centre must obtain the authorization from China National Food Industry Association. The Food Safety Professional Licence Training Center of UIC Food Science and Technology Programme is the only authorized member in Zhuhai.

The main training content for Food Safety Professional includes food safety basics, food safety guarantee technology and food safety law. Trainees will be organized to attend the unified examination in June or December. Qualified trainees will be offered two certificates: the Vocational Training Certificate by National Ministry of Labor and Social Security and the Food Safety Professional Certificate by CNFIA.
